Renewable Energy Outings

Several farms in the south east have been selected to hold renewable energy demonstration events between October 2006 and March 2007.
One of these events is being held at Friars Court farm tomorrow, near Oxford. Click here for a flyer.
The event consists of talks on renewable energy technologies, a trade fair, farmers market, and children's events such as tractor rides and a treasure hunt.
There is also a 'build a wind turbine' event which I am taking part in with other members from my MSc group, who were getting very involved with design ideas yesterday... but I am not sure how technical you can get when the building materials used include plastic cups and lollipop sticks!
